iCopy-X v1.1.7 Released

Firmware v1.1.7 is out for the open-source iCopy-X. Contributor PhantomPlanetDev builds on the existing iCS Decoder integration with a reworked credential workflow, saved credential management, and a set of interface and audio fixes. Grab it from the v1.1.7 release page.

Notable changes

iCS Decoder

  • Changed the iCS Decoder workflow to separate reading, saving and writing credentials.
  • Added Saved Credentials, with the ability to view, reuse and delete saved captures.
  • Improved decoder response handling, covering malformed responses and credentials presented before or after a read is started.
  • Added explicit write confirmation, target compatibility checks and optional verification after writing.

Quality of Life

  • Added persistent main menu reordering using M1.
  • Fixed Audio Off so the setting applies consistently throughout the application.
  • Improved scrolling for longer credential details and About information.
  • Updated the iCS workflow and feature notes in the documentation.
